Services and Prices

The options below cover my most popular programmes. However, if you feel these don’t suit your needs, please contact me to discuss the support you are looking for; I’ll do my best to help.

  • I offer my services in block sessions. This is because I feel that training a dog is a long term, vital investment. It takes a gradual, patient and dedicated approach to build trust and alter a dog’s state of mind (whether it be working on anxiety, fear, impatience, confidence or any other emotional state) and his/her behaviour. Helping the client pick up valuable tools and use them in everyday training scenarios confidently, accurately and effectively takes confidence, time and motivation.

  • THREE sessions, bought in advance: £180

FIVE sessions, bought in advance: £275

TEN sessions, bought in advance: £500

INDIVIDUAL session*, bought in advance: £65

THREE Free Work / Confidence Building Sessions, £50

*Please note: individual sessions are only available to existing clients who have already completed a block of coaching sessions.

The Puppy Programme

£315

This package consists of SIX sessions and is best suited to a puppy that has just been brought home to live with you and still finding their feet in their new human environment. I look at what the dog needs support with right away, routines to establish (if appropriate), and I also cover basic obedience, toilet training, socialisation, loose lead walking. I aim to make coaching your puppy an ongoing fun, enjoyable and rewarding experience.

As well as six sessions (each one tends to last at least an hour), I provide between-session support (by phone, video or text) and will go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable at each step. As well as this, I also give clients a FREE 5m training leash (and demonstrate how to use it effectively) and often have various doggie samples and discounts to hand out.

Please get in touch to find out more.

Helping Children Overcome Their Fear Of Dogs

£265

One of my passions as a dog trainer is to help children overcome their fears and anxieties around dogs. As such, I offer the Kids Around Dogs 10-week protocol which involves a combination of online and in-person sessions. These are bespoke, 1:1 structured sessions, with a strong emphasis on teaching canine body language. I work entirely at the pace and comfort of the child involved. Please do get in touch for a no-obligation chat to find out more about the benefits of the programme.

Quickfire RESET Sessions

These will be offered single sessions. These sessions take a very practical approach, where Igive you some effective tools tailored to you and your dog. We focus on handling, technique, environment and timing amongst other things. I only have one session in which to get to know you and your dog and then offer appropriate training, therefore these sessions can seem fast-paced and possibly quite intense. I aim for my clients to leave these sessions empowered, confident and motivated to apply techniques consistently and regularly. These sessions do not suit everyone, and depending on the dog in question, they may not always be the most suitable approach to training. Please contact me to find out if one of these sessions would suit you and your dog!

1:1 Dog Walks

Sometimes we find it a challenge to walk our own dog. Not because we don’t have the time, but we may not have the motivation or inclination. Perhaps your dog pulls too often and your shoulder hurts, perhaps you tense up every time he/she barks at passing children or perhaps your elderly dog needs to go at a pace which no longer suits that of your early morning run. As a fully insured, certified trainer, I’d be happy to walk your dog (and only your dog) locally. I assess what kind of environment would suit your dog and often head to different spaces such as Hampstead Heath, Bigwood or Kenwood or we may amble and sniff along pavements (it depends entirely on how the dog feels). The bonus of having me walk your dog, is that I will often ‘walk & train’ through games as we go. I like to walk with the client’s equipment wherever possible however I do not use extendable leads or any aversive collars/tools. If you know your dog is a bite risk, you must inform me as he/she will need to be muzzled on the walk as a safety precaution.

1:1 Dog Training Walks

Effective training can be a time-consuming process, especially when dealing with complex behavioural issues. As such it may be helpful to have a positive-reinforcement trainer work with your dog regularly one-on-one alongside private training sessions. Training walks are available to existing clients and will only be available in conjunction with on-going private sessions to ensure the sustainability and consistency of the training. Some examples of situations which might call for training walks are:

Desensitization
Impulse control
Leash frustration and/or aggression
Dog-to-dog aggression
Dog-to-human aggression

Confidence Building / Free Work Sessions - I AM NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR THESE SESSIONS

These sessions focus primarily on building up the confidence of young/adolescent dogs, but in truth could be hugely beneficial to all dogs, especially if they’re anxious or reactive or trying to rebuild confidence after a traumatic experience. It offers them unrestricted movement in a secure environment where they can explore objects, textures, uneven surfaces whilst using their strong sense of smell to sniff out exciting treats. In these sessions, we often observe and encourage, but very much leave the dog to explore at his/her own pace independently.

These take place in a dedicated indoor space in my home. I will only have a maximum of two dogs enjoying the space at any one time and there is outdoor space should either dog or owner need it. These sessions will last approximately 30 minutes each, sold in blocks of 3 for £50.

Please contact me if you’d like support with your dog. Recognising that we all need a little help from time to time and making that first move is the catalyst for change!
